Car Buying Service
- Agreement to Terms
- By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, then you may not access our services.
- Our Services
- We offer a service to purchase used cars from individuals.
- Our appraisal process determines the fair market value of your vehicle based on various factors including condition, mileage, age, and market demand.
- We provide a transparent and straightforward selling experience.
- Price Indicator
- eCarz Pty Ltd is not bound by any pricing provided. All pricing will be subject to viewing of vehicle.
- Price provided is via a third party and calculated based on an algorithm with market pricing.
- While we do our best to provide accurate pricing, price can vary dependant on vehicle conditions, presentation, service records, keys supplied.
- Vehicle Eligibility
- We buy used cars that meet our criteria for resale.
- The vehicle must have a clear title with no liens or encumbrances otherwise we must be able to confirm data with lender taking encumbrance over vehicle
- We reserve the right to refuse any vehicle based on our assessment criteria.
- Selling Process
- To sell your car to us, you must provide accurate information about the vehicle’s condition, mileage, and history.
- We will conduct an inspection and test drive to verify the condition of the vehicle.
- Our offer to purchase your car is valid for a specified period, usually 7 days, during which the offer may change based on market conditions.
- Offer and Payment
- We will make you a cash offer to purchase your vehicle.
- Payment will be made via electronic transfer or certified check, subject to the completion of paperwork and verification of ownership.
- Ownership and Liability
- You confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle and have the authority to sell it.
- You agree to indemnify us against any claims or liabilities arising from misrepresentation of ownership or condition of the vehicle.
- Privacy Policy
- We collect personal information necessary for the car buying process and adhere to strict privacy standards.
- Your personal information will only be used for the purpose of purchasing your vehicle and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
- Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through negotiation and, if necessary, through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of [eCarz Pty Ltd Jurisdiction].
- Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or the sale of your vehicle.
- Changes to Terms

- By engaging with eCarz Pty Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and eCarz Pty Ltd regarding the sale of your vehicle.
- Termination
- We reserve the right to terminate our services or your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
- Waiver
- Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions will not be considered a waiver of those rights. Our rights under these Terms and Conditions will survive any termination of this agreement.
- Updates to Terms and Conditions
- We may update or revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal requirements. The most current version will be posted on our website with the effective date indicated.
- Acceptance of Terms
- By selling your car to us or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Vehicle Finance Offer
Interest rates from 6.19% p.a. (comparison rate 7.87% p.a.*), subject to lender approval and eligibility criteria.
Green Cars Only
Eligibility criteria to qualify for the 6.19% promotional rate on a Green Car Rate
To be eligible for the advertised promotional rate, applicants must meet all of the following:
- New vehicle purchase from a licensed motor dealer (consumer loans only)
- Applicant must be asset-backed
- Minimum credit score of 800
- Minimum 3 years at current residential address
- Minimum 3 years in current employment
- No prior credit infringements or adverse credit history
- Minimum 10% deposit required
- Loan must be fully amortised over a 60-month term (no balloon)
Fees and charges
The following fees apply and are included in the comparison rate calculation where applicable:
- Lender establishment fee: $495
- Account keeping fee: $8 per month
- eCarz Finance origination fee: $1,760 (one-off fee)
Additional fees, charges, and terms may apply depending on lenders, and individual circumstances
Important information
- All applications are subject to individual lender credit assessment, terms, conditions, and approval.
- Funding may be provided by one or more panel lenders.
- If the above eligibility criteria are not met, eCarz Finance will present alternative finance options based on the applicant’s credit profile and circumstances
